Passionate in several areas of visual culture world, I’ve worked for different companies, countries and jobs, enriching my knowledge and skills.
Although I had studied Architecture, I’ve started as a graphic designer for an important events company in Valencia (Spain), working for famous brands as Louis Vuitton, Bentley or Omega. In CuldeSac I’ve learnt the importance of the details and the client relationship. Then, an opportunity to move to Paris arrived, and I could work for an architectural agency, discovering the industrial scene, and learning how form follows function. We’ve done projects for Hermés, the European Space Agency or the Grand Paris. Concept, 3d design and signage were my tasks in Jean-François Schmit Architectes.
Design, and particularly, editorial design have always been my passion. The possibility to work in a team with different profiles, photographers, illustrators, journalists let me to develop all my potential and interests. I’ve been doing it as a freelance, with several design awards (2 best book cover award in my region, Valencia). This gave to me the possibility to work as an Art Director in Luxembourg. Maison Moderne, publishing house, the biggest independent editorial group in the grand-duchy, opened to me the world of professional publishing way of life. I’ve been doing books and magazines, and also the communication for our clients for 5 years.During that period, i’ve managed a team of 8 people, including graphic and UX designers.
BONUS. My passion for photography, design and visual culture drives me to participate in urban art projects with the art collective Pink Intruder. With them I’ve built a cardboard pavilion in the Nevada desert at the Burning Man festival in the US in 2016. Recently I’ve participated in an urban art festival in Luxembourg, with an art installation. Open minded, I believe in other cultures to learn and apply the discoveries to my work and my day-to-day life.
